Chord transition trainer
Pick two chords, set a tempo, and drill the change against the beat. Keep both hands on your guitar. Enter your clean and missed totals afterward, save, and get your next practice tempo.
How to practice chord changes effectively
Chord changes improve fastest when you measure them. Pick one bottleneck pair, set a tempo where you can stay about 85% clean, and mark every attempt honestly. Racing ahead of your accuracy just grooves the mistakes.
Keep the strumming hand moving through every change. A slightly late chord with continuous rhythm sounds more musical than a perfect chord that arrives after a silence.
- Start with Em→Am or G→C if you're new — high payoff, clear coaching cues.
- Raise BPM by 4–8 only after two solid days above 90% clean.
- Re-test the same pair weekly so you can see real progress, not vibes.
